Post race blues have set in and I need to get back at it. Legs are fine, not nearly as sore as if I would have run a "regular" marathon. Next on my plate is the 50k in December... So regular trips back out to the HUFF course to get ready for that. After running PPM it gives you a sense of there's nothing out there that I can't accomplish now. Running 50k seems relatively harmless after 6 hours on Pikes.
Wounds are healing up nicely, no excuses there.
I may throw in a 5 or 10k between now and December.. right now I just don't have any speed in my legs, plenty of endurance. I also may run the Veterans marathon again in November, all depends on how things pan out between now and then.
