Ok.. one more Olympian..... now!

Last night at the Olympic trials in Eugene,Oregon Amy Yoder-Begley qualified for Beijing in the 10000 meters running a 31:43 and beating the "A" standard by 2 seconds...

Amy is a local girl here and I've had the pleasure of watching her mature from a budding high school XC girl, to now an accomplished runner of Olympic proportions. I've even had the opportunity to race against her from time to time in local races. She and her husband are very nice people and willing to talk about whatever it is you had on your mind... I'm so glad she made it and wish her the best at the Olympics.
